Mountain Biking Highlight (Segment)
The Hagener Stadtwald, located in the southwest, is part of a large forest area that extends to Ennepetal and Breckerfeld. In relative proximity to the city center Hagener are some attractions for recreation, such as a wildlife enclosure, the Bismarck tower on the high above the city Goldberg, the observatory at the Eugen Richter tower and the Kaiser Friedrich tower on the Hesterthardt above hasp.In the north of the city forest is bounded by the valley axis, in the west of the Haspetal and in the east of Selbecke and the Köttinger Bachtal. In the south Hinnenwiese joins the plateau of Breckerfeld-Waldbauer and the enclave around the Hasper dam.The following hiking trails can be found here:
