Drive as usual with the black elephants on the mountain road along the edge of the jungle. Down towards Taphon. After driving through the long village road and a small snack at the shop left. Continue all uphill through the village. This one road along from the Klong if the Bridge has passed everything on this road towards Taphon. Depending on the season, the road is lined with hundreds of golden-yellow bushes and trees to the left and right of the road. Nice to look at and nice-smelling flowers. The people who live here call them gold trees - therefore the street of gold . (in December) the blossoms are off, green shimmering plants line the street. Further down to the left coming from the mountain. The temple of Taphon. very beautiful, calm and worth seeing.

The monks are friendly and happy to tell you about the temple construction that has been going on for over 12 years and will probably never be completed. Then you go to the Taphon market and turn right at the intersection.
