In addition to a phenomenal view of the Münsterland 60m below, there are also dizzying views from the edges of two abandoned limestone quarries. It's almost 30m vertical, on the bare rock, down. Partly the path leads directly along the cliff. In the north of the two quarries is a small but beautiful, deep blue lake. East of the quarries, on the part of the Kleeberg untouched by mining, lies the Osterklee nature reserve - which lives up to its name.
