    The Oude Ruurloseweg is typical for how forrest roads in the Achterhoek look like. A wide gravel road, that can be used by cars and a narrow cycle path alongside it. That makes it perfect for all sorts of bikes, not only gravel bikes but also road bikes.

    This road specifically is a nice and smooth road that runs alongside a famous bit of Dutch heritage. In the adjacent forest there was a motorcross track called 'Hengelse zand', which gathered a lot of fame when a local band wrote a song about riding motorcross bikes across this track. The song is called 'Oerendhard' from the band 'Normaal'.
