You just have to see the Salamander Valley. Indescribably beautiful and unique

One of the most beautiful valleys around Bayreuth. Small but nice.

The Salamander valley near Eckersdorf is just too beautiful to simply roar through with my bike, that's why I always make a few stops to enjoy the idyllic valley at any time. Again and again I like to cross this small gorge which is strictly a listed building. This "hiking trail" is 2.5 km long, with a small stream and an exposed spring. Unfortunately, I haven't seen a salamander here yet Feu although fire salamanders are said to be common here.
