Dartmeet is the confluence of the East Dart and the West Dart. It’s a section of the Dart that is shallow, with numerous boulders and stepping stones that are both beautiful and run to hop across if they’re not too slippery. You’ll find an old stone bridge here as well as a medieval clapper bridge. This area is chock full of prehistoric stones, evidence of settlements and even a prehistoric field system, so if you’re in the mood for archeological rambling, you’ll be in your element exploring Dartmeet and the immediate area. There are also public toilets in the car park on the east side of the bridge.
