The Eyserbeek (Limburgish: Ezerbaak) is a river in the south of the Dutch province of Limburg and flows through the Eyserbeek valley. This stream originates as the Bocholtzerbeek in Bocholtz, then runs via Simpelveld to Eys and on to Cartils. The village of Eys, through which the river flows, is named after this stream. The Eyserbeek is a tributary of the Geul and flows into this river at motte castle Gracht Burggraaf and the hamlet of the same name. Gracht Burggraaf is a hamlet with a motte-and-bailey castle near Gulpen and at this strategically located fortification several rivers, including the Eyserbeek, flow into the Geul.

In Simpelveld the Eyserbeek had two water mills. The Old Mill or Houben Mill was located near the Oude Molenstraat, of which the wheel and water supply are still present at the beginning of 2009. Further downstream there is a mill branch that flows past a farm where the Bulkems mill used to be located.

The Eyserbeek is a picturesque river in South Limburg that flows from Bocholtz via Simpelveld and Eys to Gulpen, where it flows into the Geul. The stream valley is a popular hiking area with rolling hills, sunken lanes, historic watermills, and lush natural beauty. Around the Eyserbeek, you'll find beautiful hiking trails, ranging from short walks to longer day hikes. The area is also ecologically important, with efforts being made to improve water quality and biodiversity. Perfect for peace and quiet, nature, and culture.
