In the 14th century a mill, then a rest stop, the Henessenmühle has been a well-known restaurant and popular excursion destination for many years.
The Henessenmühle ensemble includes half a dozen buildings arranged around a square for various commercial areas: mill, sawmill, bakery, restaurant, agriculture and cider mill. The sawmill is to the right of the stream on Niederbürer Boden. Historically, the Henessenmühle, with its past reaching back into the Middle Ages, is a monument to the earlier food industry.
