It is a beautiful cycle path along the Oude Rijn, but I doubt whether this is so suitable for cyclists. There are many fishermen fishing along the cycle path in the Oude Rijn, and when you bring in the fishing rod, a whole piece of fishing rod (carbon) often sticks over the cycle path. And both your bike and the fishing rod of the fisherman are not resistant to the compression of this material (Carbon). I would choose the road next to it safer for all.
