The Weidenwang sinkhole is geologically very interesting and one of the cold spots in Germany. It is a so-called karst basin with several sinkholes.

"Here you touch the end of a special themed trail, the Sonnenalb climate trail, where you can learn a lot about the geological and climatic features of the Alb. The picnic area at the weather station is particularly beautiful. There are even pavilions that protect against too much sun or rain Protect. Don't forget the entry in the guest book!
