The princely church is said to date back to the time of the Saxon Wars under Charlemagne. For centuries only a hill of ruins can be seen. The residents then moved to Fürstenberg.

Unfortunately, there is not much left to see from the church, a sign tells about the history. But there is a very nice hut to rest right next to the ruins.
