Due to its location in the middle of the Wildflecken military training area, the Kleiner Auersberg is normally not accessible. At the end of July, however, the hiking weekend takes place regularly, during which selected changing routes through the military training area are open to the public. In 2022 the small Auersberg was included. From the highest point there is an almost all-round view, e.g. B. to the Kreuzberg, to the Dreistelz, to the Great Hood ...
