Lost Place above the Ruhr: In the 1970s, the then ultra-modern administration building of Demag - a large manufacturer of cranes and drive technology with a long history - was built here. 40 years later the building was abandoned and the workforce moved to the company's main building on the other side of the Ruhr. The big building has been empty for a few years. In the abandoned parking lots you can wonderfully watch how nature takes everything back: All kinds of plants grow out of the joints between the pavement and there is a touch of “walking dead” atmosphere.
