Since the Cascades are not far from the Mahai Campsite, it can get crowded during the South African school holidays. But no problem: then you just continue along the river and discover one of the many other hidden pools!

The so-called Cascades are a collection of beautiful pools in the middle of the crystal clear river. Wonderful for cooling off in hot weather and also a paradise for children!
