Beautifully located lake on the Stallersattel. If you like it quiet, this is the right place for you. It's worth walking around the lake; it's easily doable even for people who aren't that good on foot.

The Obersee lies at an altitude of 2,016 meters and stretches between the Rieserferner group in the north and the Villgraten mountains in the south. In winter the lake is often hidden under a thick layer of ice and snow. On the north bank, a stone pine forest grows right up to the bank and makes for a perfect photo opportunity.
