Please check local regulations for: The Broads
Beccles is a wonderful boating town on the edge of the Broads and this charming old iron bridge offers pretty views of the boats moored up at the quay. Beccles Old Bridge was built in 1884 to replace a stone bridge and to allow wider boats to pass beneath.
The bridge itself is nice to look at but if you head onto it and look north you’ll see boats moored up just before the quay. Looking south, more boats line the riverside. The views are complete with the odd weeping willow, tickling the water’s surface.
