Once at the 2,311-metre (7,582 ft) col above Montgenèvre, the singletrack that rolls along the contours of these high peaks as you start to make your way back down is just as spectacular as the views. The surface is loamy and often hugs the side of the mountain which can make it feel a little edgy at times!
