At the back of this chapel hangs a plaque with the text:This Maria chapel is a copy of the field chapel, which was built in 1846 by the Deutz family from the Kloosterrade farm near Rolduc.In 1961, due to new construction in the Rolduckerveld, an attempt was made to relocate this chapel "Beerenbosch", which failed.Thanks to many support, the chapel was rebuilt and consecrated by Mgr. Frans Wiertz, Bishop of Roermond.This plaque was unveiled by Camille Zillikens, descendant of the Deutz family.May many here again experience peace and joy.Kerkrade, Sunday 2 June 2002
