This peak is one of the most visited in the northern mountains due to its accessibility and its spectacular 360º views. From here you can see: To the north the Atazar reservoir and the Sierra de Ayllón, to the west the Sierra de La Cabrera and, on a clear day, the Peñalara peak, which is the highest in Madrid, to the south you can see the entire plain of Madrid and part of its skyline.

The Cancho de la Cabeza is the highest peak in the municipality of Patones, located in the Sierra Norte region of Madrid. It is a beautiful natural viewpoint of the El Atazar reservoir. In the background you can see the Peña de la Cabra, one of the numerous peaks of the Sierra de Ayllón.
