He was built by Josep Ubach i Falgueres in 1634. His construction was done with the remains of the former farmhouses Calsina Jussana and Calsina Sobirana nowadays disappeared.
Calcina's toponymy is derived from Arabic and in fact it was probably its main activity, as there is a lime kiln very close. But this Mas was used by a beast, due to the size of its stable.
