Lovely old pub with a couple of bars, serving good food, and lots of outdoor space, including an outdoor bar.
This all might sounds like a "normal" old English country pub, but the Anchor has a few unique aspects to it as well. Firstly, the pub is on the banks of the River Ouse and in the summer they rent out boats on the river. Secondly, they have a field where anyone travelling by helicopter, can land.

Excellent food and river views but gets very busy at weekends. Expect a long wait for food. They don’t take bookings.
