Arriving from the north, the Puy de la Tache is one of the first volcanoes that make up the chain of the Monts Dore.
From the top of its 1,629 meters, the panoramic view embraces the entire Mont-Dore valley.
At the top, an old radio shelter is abandoned. During terrible weather episodes, it makes an excellent shelter.translated by

Rather steep climb of 1km from the Col de la Croix Morand. Lots of wind but the view is worth it!
