On the west side of Fehmarn, very close to the Fehmarn Sound passage and about 2 km north of the Fehmarn Sound Bridge, is the rather small Strukkamphuk lighthouse. The building, which is quite small for a lighthouse, is best reached by taking a short walk from the Strukkamphuk campsite. Unfortunately, the site is fenced off and access is prohibited, but the trip to the west of the island of Fehmarn is still worthwhile. Together with the Flügge lighthouse, the Strukkamphuk lighthouse forms the leading light for the Fehmarn Sound.
