This memorial stone stands on a beautiful hill near Rübenau.
It's an old tradition: If a forester is violently killed, he receives a memorial stone. Typically, the victims are poachers and thieves. In our case, however, four foresters from the Rothenhaus forestry directorate of the Prince of Hohenlohe-Langenburg, from Natschung, Kallich, and Neuhaus, were murdered in 1945.translated by
