The Gulp rises in Hendrik-Kapelle (Henri-Chapelle, where the American war cemetery is located) and flows into the Geul in the Netherlands at the motte of the former Gracht Burggraaf motte castle in Gulpen. This makes it just over 22 kilometers long, enough to create a beautiful valley landscape.
