Tips
Historically, Weißig belonged to Reuss' younger line and was first mentioned in a document in 1533. The Zeulsdorf manor was entitled to inheritance jurisdiction and patronage rights over Weißig until 1855. The origin of the place was a chapel located at the intersection of two trade routes (Wikipedia).
