The Kirchsteig Bridge over the Elbe-Lübeck Canal has a 45-meter clear width between the two abutments. It is 2.22 meters wide, the width of the sidewalk is 2 meters.
The construction took place in 1898 in the course of canal construction. It was fundamentally refurbished in 1999, but the passage height of 4.74 meters was unfortunately not increased for cost reasons.
