A green site, where you can discover two lakes (upper and lower) which, thanks to the passage of water in the turbines, produce electricity. A walking path invites you to go around the lower lake, before leading you to the Coo waterfall, where you will find various catering offers.

Here you cycle on one of the 2 descents of the artificial lake that serves as the break of the coo-trois-ponts hydroelectric power station.

The Coo-Trois-Ponts hydroelectric power station is the most important reservoir power station in Belgium, located between Coo and Trois-Ponts in the province of Liège in Wallonia. The power plant was built between 1967 and 1979. It was intended as a buffer for the Tihange nuclear power plant. The plant is operated remotely from the dispatch of  ENGIE Electrabel in Brussels and can be started up in 20 seconds. The total power of the plant is 1164 megawatts (MW). This maximum capacity can be supplied for 5 hours. Then the upper basins are empty and the water has to be pumped back up.

The lower basin is an artificial lake of 71 hectares created by damming the meander of the Amblèvete Coo in the municipality of Stavelot, which can hold 8.5 million m³ of water.
