The Church, from the 14th century, forms a single building complex with the Rectory, which is quite characteristic. Its dimensions are rather modest; it has a single central nave with a polygonal apse and two small side chapels. There is very little historical information relating to the church prior to the 16th century. The papal diploma of Eugene III of 1146 recalls the "chapel" of S. Agata in the territory of the Pieve di S. Faustino. In the pastoral visit of 1543 it appears neglected while in 1593 it is joined to that of Stiolo. He was always an employee of the Plebanato di San Faustino. Also noteworthy is the rural complex in front of the church with a large rustic and the structure of an old dairy with a rectangular plan.
