The St. Margareta Church is a partly Romanesque, partly Romano-Gothic church in the town of Norg in Drenthe. The church was built in the mid-13th century and dedicated to Saint Margaret of Antioch. The tower with a gable roof was built first and then, in stages, the rest of the church. The tower is in Romanesque style

Norg is one of the many green villages in Drenthe. A green is a large lawn (now mostly paved) surrounded by farms. Cattle used to be collected here.

Norg has no less than six greens and the Paardenbrink is still used as a cattle market and goods market.
