Heppenheim Market Square

A really nice marketplace! In summer you can sit in one of the cafés or restaurants and watch the hustle and bustle.

The market square is surrounded by beautiful half-timbered houses. In the middle is the market fountain. When you see the market place for the first time you are flashed by the idyll.

The Heppenheim market square is not only very popular with locals. The small restaurants are all recommended. Each has its own charm. Come over in the summer and sit outside. Indescribable!
Many Heppenheim circular routes start from the market square. For example, the H 3 - Guldenzollweg with 9.3 km over the old Guldenzoll vineyard to the Arnoldseiche and back above the mountain road through the vineyard. Here you have a fantastic view of the Heppenheimer Cathedral Church of St. Peter and the city's landmark, the Starkenburg.
