Radolfzell on Lake Constance is a city on the northwestern shore of the Untersee, a sub-lake of Lake Constance, about 20 km northwest of Constance and ten km east of Singen (Hohentwiel) and after these the third largest city in the district of Konstanz, the third largest city on Lake Constance and the only City bearing the addition "on Lake Constance". Radolfzell forms a middle center for the surrounding municipalities and is since 1 January 1975 large district town.
