The highest point in Bavaria and thus the German Alps and all of Germany is of course the Zugspitze! Either you walk up the spectacular mountain hiking trails on your own, or you just take the cable car. You should be prepared for the fact that there is a lot going on up here - the highest mountain in Germany is of course a very nice attraction!
