Wilfried's tip "drive very slowly" is really to be taken seriously here or there is no other way of doing it. Now (on a sunny day in mid-February, see photo) the path up to the A29 underpass is totally muddy and extremely difficult to drive on. The last rain was more than 24 hours ago, so the water does not drain well here. That means at least at this time of year definitely nothing for racing or trekking bikes, and due to the general condition of the ground probably not a "racing bike highlight" either, despite really beautiful surroundings.
