A park that has been devastated by the responsible body for years now. Wild deforestation, route closures, abolition of the train, blocking of the accounts of users who report.
Lastly, the beautiful poplar grove next to Viale Rotta dei Bosco was cut down, as it was a "non-native" species. The "forest" that had been announced in its place is actually a grassy and desolate clearing.
Elsewhere too it is full of felled trunks, with artificial clearings where there was forest.
There is a lack of benches to sit on, especially for the elderly.
Viale dei Roveri has been inexplicably closed for years, with the beautiful tall trees that were there cut down and replaced by tiny nursery plants, almost all of which are dead and withered.
It's a shame, because it is an exceptional park, which without these interventions would be one of the most beautiful in Europe.
