If you need to get down or up the rather horrid Ashbury Hill, you may enjoy this little road better than cycling on the main road. It starts off on the Ashbury to Childrey road, passable round a closed gate. Then a steep uphill on a concrete road. Beautiful ancient ridges carved into the steep hillside to your right. Joins the Ridgeway very near to Waylands Smithy.
