Divar Island lies in the Mandovi river of the Indian state of Goa. It is one of the six major islands between the Mandovi and Zuari and several other small mangrove islands and sand banks. The word 'Divar' is derived from local language of Konkani 'Divaddi or Dipavati' which means small island. It is one of the most iconic ecological river island touring destination across India.
