Camping Hertogenwald: the Brasserie Hertogenwald is highly recommended, whether for a drink on the terrace or to satisfy your hunger in the brasserie. Very good kitchen, value for money correct. Children are welcome, nice playground right in front of the restaurant.
!!! Since the flood of July '21, the bridge over the Weser no longer exists, it was completely destroyed or washed away.

The brasserie has been closed since September 14, 2024. The campsite is closed after the flood of July '21 and the facility is reportedly for sale. It is questionable whether and when the restaurant and camping will be open again.
The bridge over the Weser has not yet been rebuilt.
