The Rose Island is located 170 meters from the western shore of the lake in the Feldafinger bay, at the height of the so-called bell ridge. The island belongs as a district Wörth (castle) to the municipality Feldafing, landowner is the Free State of Bavaria. The number of inhabitants is given as "1" (for the gardener who inhabits the island all year round).
