    Tips

    Cycling

There is an important excavation under the monastery church. There are guided tours on certain occasions – otherwise not accessible. Karl Drais, who worked and lived in Schuttern for two years, is also honored in the rooms of the historical association on the south side of the church. The monastery garden is a quiet place with benches and shade - good for a break. A baker is also nearby. A fountain with drinking water is on the town hall square. The painting of the monastery courtyard hangs in the Schuttern town hall and can be viewed during opening hours.
