Tips
Ardeck Castle towers high on a rock in a bottleneck in the Aar Valley directly above the cycle path. From up there you have a great view of the Aartal towards Holzheim and Hahnstätten from one side, and towards Freiendiez from the other side.

A beautiful old ruin with a great view. The path to the right of the castle is not passable. The walk down to the village has some nice stairs.
