Mountain Biking Highlight
The Stilluptal is located in the Zillertal Alps Nature Park and, at 17 kilometers, is the shortest of the four side valleys. A winding toll road in the rear of the Zillertal leads with a gradient of up to 15 percent over a length of 8 km to the Stillupspeicher. This is at an altitude of 1,116 m and was built in 1966 with a length of 2.5 km. The idyllic landscape invites hikers, walkers and cyclists to explore and has numerous places to stop for delicious Tyrolean delicacies. Enjoy this piece of nature and experience Austria from its most beautiful side! The natural paradise begins right behind Mayrhofen ... Bus traffic in the Stilluptal Buses run from Mayrhofen to the Gasthof Wasserfall and the Grünen-Wand-Hütte. By car, the onward journey past the Stilluphaus to the Grünen-Wand-Hütte is only possible with the approval of those interested in the route.
