If you want to see all 5 lakes, it becomes a fairly long and fairly challenging ride. You do not need a particular equipment, the views are really worthy of a bit of effort. It starts and back from Madonna di Campiglio, taking the 5 lakes cableway, but the most trained can leave directly on foot from Campiglio
