If you are looking for a picturesque and historic walk in the Ardennes, you can try the Chemin des Trois Frontières in the Halanzy woods. This trail crosses the borders of Belgium, France and Luxembourg, and follows the traces of the old iron mines which shaped the economy and landscape of the region. You will discover the remains of mine shafts, galleries, forges and blast furnaces, as well as the rich flora and fauna of the beech forest. Along the way, you will also learn the history of the miners, scouts and resistance fighters who lived and died in this region.
