The Secret Swings are hidden amongst the trees above Scripps Pier on the hillsides of La Jolla. These swings have become popular mostly through word of mouth and Instagram. There are 3 known swings each varying in popularity. No one knows who originally built the swings, but there seems to be a communal understanding among swing-goers that when one is due for a repair or upgrade, it is swiftly taken care of before you can notice it was replaced. This particular swing always has a motivational or inspirational saying painted on it.
