Its current appearance derives from the expansion of a pre-existing small chapel dedicated to the Virgin, dating back to 1565. The transformation was due, in 1698, to events considered miraculous, including the appearance of three drops of blood on the face of the Child depicted with the Virgin in the image on the high altar. The statue of the Madonna di Loreto, which is located in a shrine on the left of the altar, dates back to 1842. From the indicated point it is possible to read the words "YOU THAT PASSI SALUTA MARIA".
