In 1748, the Prussian King Frederick II had the Berlin Invalidenhaus built on what is now Scharnhorststraße in Berlin-Mitte for his "old comrades", the invalid soldiers. About 70 years ago the Invalidenhaus Berlin moved to Frohnau. Its social significance has not lost this settlement.see also:
