Bike Touring Highlight
The Heimatmuseum Seelze is housed in a four-storey half-timbered house, built by a shoemaker in 1856 in the second oldest street of Letters "Im Sande".
It houses as a permanent exhibition:
- a Schusterstube in tradition of the house
- a village schoolhouse around 1900
- a "parlor" around 1900
- a barber's shop around 1920

The small museum has moved several times since it was founded in 1964 and is now in its final location at Im Sande 14. The permanent exhibition "School at that time" is remarkable, here school classes can experience what class was like in an old classroom. There is also a hairdressing salon from 1920 and an old Schumacher workshop
