At the summit we can find a geodesic vertex (reference 283124001), and also if you can find the cross that gives the summit its name. The original cross was built around 1909 in memory of Joseph Rifà i Munt, who died in 1900. Beneath it, on land occupied by the La Creu de l'Aragall housing estate, is the Plan of the Volunteers, where in 1811 Colonel Manso trained a large group of volunteers (around 20,000) who formed the Catalunya Hunter Battalion, also known as Batalló Manso.

Extremely beautiful vantage point with a view over the large valley at the end of which the Montserrat stands out prominently. You can also get to the point by car, but walking up it is much more fun because it is a really nice hike.
