The route leads beautifully along the railway line through the northern part of the Bienwald. The asphalt slabs that were used here, probably a long time ago, are of very poor quality. The gaps in between are very large and curl upwards. Driving on the track with fully inflated tires is very painful. I prefer the parallel route via Herxheim and Jockgrim!

With 23mm racing skins and 8 bar, the small bumps in the asphalt are very uncomfortable every ~ 20 meters. Larger tires with less pressure make this much more pleasant. Otherwise the path is nice and sometimes quite wide.
